We have already detailed how you can increase your earnings with the Affiliate Commission and Volume Commission in previous posts. After the jump, you can find all the details about when things will start happening and what you need to do.
The most important information at a glance:
- The migration will begin shop-by-shop, one country at a time starting May 2nd. You can see the full schedule here.
- If you plan to activate the 20% Affiliate Commission, there is nothing you need to do. We will automatically disable all shop product mark-ups and activate the Affiliate Commission when your shop is converted.
- If you elect to not receive the Affiliate Commission (e.g. non-profit-organizations or charities), you can adjust this setting in your Shop Settings by removing the checkmark in the corresponding box.
- You will receive Volume Commission if your Shop is set to receive Affiliate Commission. As with the Affiliate Commission, there is nothing you need to do to enable this. Once your Shop has been converted with an active Affiliate Commission, you will automatically have Volume Commission enabled.
Starting mid-May, monthly payouts of your commission credit will take effect so long as your credit is $10 or more.
We look forward to many more successful years with you and your designs! If there’s anything we can do to clarify the new commission model, please drop us a line: partner@spreadshirt.com. Thank you!
I am a new shop owner and very disappointed. Prior to the change in commission and pricing, I was selling many shirts. Recently, I decided to run a Facebook ad campaign during the offer of free shipping. The campaign generated over 4000 visits to my spreadshirt site, but NOT ONE SALE! In addition I received many complaints about how high the prices are. I have now opted out of the Affiliate Commission program. Do you have any other suggestions for me to help get my sales up? Thank you.
